  Web Resources

Below are links to several sites that I find useful or fun.

Financial Sites

SavingsBonds.gov

US Treasury site on Savings Bonds. You can even purchase bonds online.

Saving for College

A very comprehensive site for state sponsored college savings plans.

Diehards.org

For those people who prefer to do it themselves, a very good place to start.

Fun Sites

Half.com

An online marketplace to buy and sell used items (like books, CD’s, Video’s, DVD’s, etc.). There are good bargains to be had, and a place to sell those used CD’s and books that are cluttering up your shelves.

Dr. Ann Weeks

“Remember, take what you do seriously but take yourself lightly...especially at work!” Dr. Ann Weeks. Humor in your life is important. Dr. Weeks is a therapist and public speaker who focuses on healing through humor (even during times when there seems to be nothing humorous). Go to the “Freebies” section and sign up for her free weekly e-mail “Weeks of Fun”.

Ideal Life

Stacey Vicari, the owner of Ideal Life, helps people put all the pieces of their personal life together through personal coaching.

Thrift Store Art

Maintained by my long-time friend, Paul Belker, this site is the most comprehensive gallery of Thrift Store Art that I have ever encountered (not that I’ve looked too hard, though). It’s amazing what can be found floating around at yard sales and thrift stores

The Dilbert Zone

Calvin & Hobbes

Two of my all-time favorite comic strips.
